Determination of the gas, water vapour and air permeability

The permeability of O2, N2, CO2 and other gases as well as water vapour through packaging materials

has an influence on the conservation conditions of foodstuff, such as drinks and fresh vegetables.

Testing those materials and/or packaging is indispensable to prevent problems.

The Belgian Packaging Institute (IBE-BVI) uses advanced equipment to define the permeability factors in packaging materials, which can help you to choose the most suitable material for your product.
